Ages 50 & Older, are required to get once a year

YOU HAVE THE OPTION OF A WORKER OR SUPERVISOR'S LICENSE.
YOU CAN ALSO TAKE A WORKER REFRESHER AT ANY POINT,
BUT WOULD LOSE THE SUPERVISOR CERTIFICATION AND WOULD HAVE TO
RE TAKE 40HR IF EVER WANTED TO OBTAIN AGAIN.
IF YOU ONLY HAVE ASBESTOS WORKER TRAINING YOU CAN ONLY OBTAIN A WORKERS LICENSE / ATTEND WORKER REFRESHERS.

12/28/2022 Local 1421 Received the following message from the state about
changes in their process for license renewals.
“In preparation for the transition to our new system, please advise all students and your customers beginning December 30, as well as contractors, analytical labs, consulting firms, and training providers must discontinue using the lead&asbestosenforcement@mass.gov email.
All lead and asbestos applications including renewals should wait until January 5, 2023
and use the new system. The link is laa.dls.eol.mass.gov/LAA "
